David Modica: News & Updates

"Seraphim" ~ The New Album

The new album "Seraphim" is now available on Magnatune Records. It will also be available on iTunes sometime in the next few months.

The electric guitar is very prominent on this album. I dive into my roots being influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn and David Gilmour. In the acoustic guitar and piano pieces you'll hear the influences of Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays. This is one of my favorite projects to date. There are no boundaries on this album... not that there ever should be!

You can hear four cuts from this album on the "Listen Here" page.

Purchase at the "Buy Here & Feel Good" page.

New Youtube Page ~ New Videos

The first in a series of Youtube videos entitled "Be The Change" ~ Music Video... is now available to watch on Youtube.

These are a series of music videos focused on promoting our own inner awareness of Life, Love and the need for Change.

The first video features the song "Be Now Still" from the album Seraphim. The second features the song "Angel Says Goodbye" also from the album Seraphim.

Being produced in association with ~ A Breath In Time Productions.

2 More Albums Coming In 2010

The first of the next two albums that will be released after "Seraphim" will be titled "The Water Is Wide" -- also the main cut on the album -- which is an old Irish love song going back a few hundred years. This is a very moving and emotional album with pure acoustic and electric guitar - with a very laid back and mysterious feel to it. Should be released around July, 2010.

The second, which is yet to be titled, will be an extension of the previous (The Water Is Wide). Besides acoustic and electric guitars... piano and synthesizer were included adding more depth and feeling. Should be released around December, 2010.

All of the music on these two albums were written while I was working and being involved with kids that have cancer. A very emotional and moving experience. The music is an extension in feeling... and learning - ever so deeply that - life is short, be here now... and leave tomorrow to the greater powers that be.
